Managing Director

Anthony Tan is a highly accomplished professional with a diverse educational background and extensive experience in technology transfer, operational excellence, strategic leadership, and sustainability across multiple industries.

He graduated from The University of Queensland with a Hons Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering as well as two more Master Degree in Business Administration and Human Resource Management, both with Distinction grade.

Amidst his busy schedule, Anthony also volunteer as the Chairperson for Health & Safety Engineering Technical Committee at The Institution of Engineers, Singapore and Team Leader of the Alpha Award, a program initiated by Singapore Ministry of Manpower.

He deeply believe in empowering people, nurturing potential, and creating opportunities reflects a leadership style rooted in empathy, vision, and purpose. With a passion for building others up, Anthony continues to inspire those around them to aim higher, grow stronger, and achieve more - Together Innovating for a Sustainable Future.

Customer & Sales

Ming is a well-established professional in the ship chandlery industry with over two decades of experience. Known for his service-first approach, he consistently goes the extra mile to earn and maintain the trust of his clients.

He successfully managed the air freight supply of 90 metric tons of garnet stones from Mongolia to Singapore—an impressive logistical achievement. Additionally, he collaborated with Castrol Singapore to successfully import Castrol Transaqua DW into China, supporting FPSO projects. This milestone positioned Polar Marine Pte Ltd as the first company to accomplish this process seamlessly.

Drawing on years of experience working with shipyards and EPCs, Ming also led a project to modify workshop equipment to comply with Brazilian NR35 standards, demonstrating his technical versatility and commitment to safety compliance.
